Scotch Mist

Scotch Mist, a musical duo consisting of Lynne Dale on Celtic harp and Roger Dale on recorders with hold a free concert at the Oakland Armory. The duo performs Celtic, folk and light classical music. Since their partnership started, they have performed in Maryland, West Virginia and Northern Virginia at a variety of weddings, Celtic gatherings, concerts and other occasions. Lynn is a graduate of Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA. She has taught music and served as organist and choir director in New England, the mid-Atlantic region and Washington State. In addition to her public performances, she gives private lessons in Celtic harp, piano, guitar and Appalachian dulcimer. She is Music Director at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Cumberland. Roger has been involved with music since his high school days in Minneapolis, MN. He began playing recorder while at the University of Minnesota and plays the full family of instruments. He has taught and performed in California and throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Locally, he founded and directed the Consort Antigua, a quintet of medieval and renaissance instrumentalists.
